Faunik in a nutshell

We are faunik ADVENTURE, nature lovers, creators of unforgettable moments, and real fans of fun and life!

In collaboration with Parcs Québec (Sépaq), faunik ADVENTURE is the only summer camp established in the national parks of Quebec. During the summer, we welcome youths from 8-17 years old who come from all over Quebec (as well as Europe, the United States and the rest of Canada) to make them enjoy a great summer vacation! Camping, forest hikes, games, …all while discovering some of the most beautiful landscape of Quebec…
A word of caution, the dynamism of our counselors, combined with the passion of the park rangers is contagious!

Our formula, which is certified by the Association des camps du Québec ( ACQ ) is perfect for school outings as well as group trips (sports teams, scouts, etc…)

Who are our collaborators

The Québec National parks network

In 1999, the government gave the Société des établissements de plein air du Québec (Society of outdoor recreation establishments of Quebec) the mandate to take on the management of the activities and services of parks situated below the 50th parallel with the aim of protecting and promoting them as part of a network of international calibre. Sepaq’s mission is to manage, run, and develop these natural sites, in consultation with local communities, with a view to protection, conservation, profitability, and sustainable development.

Quebec national parks are exceptional protected areas. They offer stunning landscapes, a wide variety of outdoor activities, spectacular trails and summits, and diverse wildlife, as well as a rich and authentic cultural heritage.

Every Occasion Begins With Coleman

It all started with a lantern in 1900. From there we expanded with a compact stove in the 1940s. Next we revolutionized cooler manufacturing, we added tents and sleeping bags in the 1960s, battery lighting in the 1980s, and camping furniture and accessories during the 1990s. Today, Coleman continues to evolve as well as bring new innovations to the outdoor market, such as BatteryLock™ lights, HyperFlame™ stoves, DuraRest™ airbeds and Fast Pitch™ tents.

Through all the additions and innovations, the drive to help people get out and enjoy the outdoors has remained the one constant. This is why we are proud to partner with the Faunik ADVENTURE team.

faunik AVENTURE faunik en bref collaborateur emmanuel daigle
« I have been hiking on a regular basis since the age of thirteen. At sixteen, I began climbing, and did my first high altitude expedition in Chile at nineteen. Hiking, rock and ice climbing, and high altitude expeditions are a way of life for me. For a number of years, I have shared my passion by giving courses related to outdoor activities. I guide groups of all ages all over the world, both on a freelance basis and for various companies. »
Achievements:

No challenge is too great or too extreme for Emmanuel. Here are a few examples:

In 2008, as part of Radio-Canada’s Découverte show, he organized a scientific expedition to Mera Peak in Nepal. That same year, he was the first Quebecker to attempt to climb the Manaslu (8163 m) without oxygen and while leaving no trace.

He has climbed many of the major mountains in Alaska, South America, Africa, and Asia (and especially in Nepal).

Passionate about physical fitness and running, he has run numerous marathons as well as an ultramarathon, which involved running alone for 24 hours non-stop – a personal challenge for him.
